Technology
In the eloxal process (fully eloxidised according to DIN 30645) the pigments do not rest on the metal carrier as with other printing techniques, but are embedded under the glass clear eloxal layer in the aluminium pores themselves and are therefore lastingly protected. This eloxal layer has a hardness degree of 9! This is the hardness of sapphire and therefore harder than glass.
